A good reminder that we shouldn’t ever forget. Thank you.
However, why did you mention Barbadians? Of all the British Commonwealth of Nations, they were quite modest in number if I’m correct … especially compared to Canadians, Aussies, New Zealanders, Rhodesians and S. Africans … not to mention the more populous Caribbean Commonwealth nations.
Plus, IIRC, the Free French were the largest group of ex-pat Occupied Continentals in the RAF.
